The Beast in Me is a slack web series. It brings one into the thoughts of a person engaged in a battle no one else can see. It is gothic, emotional and somehow unpleasant, yet it seems to be sincere and down-to-earth.

The exhibition reminds gorgeous and gloomy. The close-ups, shadows and such lighting create tension. You can taste the oppressiveness in the atmosphere. The background music is not loud, but disturbing, which fits the situation of the character.
The main cast should be highly praised. His performance is crude and natural. His pains can be observed on his faces and more so when he attempts to contain himself but in vain. He portrays a man afraid of what he could become and he does it with such sincerity it is real. The supporting actors also do a good job, all of them making something meaningful towards the story.
The Beast in Me is a unique study of the treatment of mental and emotional conflicts. It doesn’t dramatize them. It does not use them as a plot line. Rather, it depicts an individual who appears okay outwardly yet he is waging a war within. It brings up the issues of identity, trauma and the extent to which an individual can go before the dark side takes over.
The pacing may be one of the things that may be seen as slow by the people. It is not a thriller, as quick as a tick on a time bomb. It is a slow burning psychological drama. In case you love in-depth and matter of concern narrations, then, it will be just accurate.

The Beast in Me is touching, dramatic, and masterfully development. It still remains with you even when you are done watching. It warns us that it is not always the largest creature that is staring back at us.
